The present disclosure relates to a photovoltaic device including a two-dimensional perovskite that is self-assembled between a perovskite and an electron transport layer, and to a method of fabricating the same. In a perovskite photovoltaic device according to embodiments of the present disclosure, a two-dimensional perovskite (as a non-limiting example, OA2PbI4) that is self-assembled between an electron transport layer and a perovskite layer removes defects such as oxygen vacancies formed on the surface of the electron transport layer, aligns a band structure at the interface between the electron transport layer and the perovskite layer, and provides a passivation effect for the perovskite. Accordingly, the device efficiency can be improved, and long-term stability can be enhanced.
