Abstract

A first station for performing Wi-Fi Aware communication according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a transceiver and a processor. The processor may receive a first beacon during a first access point (AP) period in which the first station communicates with a first AP, and communicate with a second station during a first aware period in which the first station performs Wi-Fi Aware communication. The first AP period may be determined on the basis of a minimum required AP period (MRP). The MRP may be determined on the basis of the first beacon, a second beacon received by the second station from a second AP, and a margin slot. Various other embodiments are possible.
