Abstract
There is provided a data transmission system including a human input device and a host. Before transmitting data to the host, the human input device checks whether there is any previously paired key device nearby. If there is no previously paired key device appearing close to the human input device, the human input device is arranged not to transmit data or to transmit non-dedicated data to the host.

A data transmission device, coupled with a host by wire or wirelessly, wherein
- the data transmission device is configured to
- transmit encrypted data, which is encrypted by a security key generated by a device identity of an external device, to the host only after receiving the device identity from the external device,
- wherein at least one button of the data transmission device configured to control the host is functioned only after the data transmission device receives the device identity from the external device.
A data transmission device, coupled with a host by wire or wirelessly, wherein
- the data transmission device is configured to
- transmit encrypt data, which is encrypted by a common security key previously generated according to device identities of multiple previously paired external devices, to the host only after receiving a device identity from one external device among the multiple previously paired external devices,
- wherein at least one button of the data transmission device configured to control the host is functioned only after the data transmission device receives the device identity from the one external device.
A data transmission system, comprising:
- a host;
- multiple external devices,
- a data transmission device, previously paired with the multiple external devices, and configured to
- be operated by a user, and
- transmit data, which is generated by the data transmission device, to the host only after receiving a device identity from at least one external device among the multiple external devices,
- wherein at least one button of the data transmission device configured to control the host is functioned only after the data transmission device receives the device identity from the at least one external device.
