Abstract
Systems and methods for generating a notification when activity exceeds an authorization level are provided. A determination is made as to whether content currently being presented to a first user exceeds an authorization level associated with the first user. In response to determining that the content exceeds the authorization level, the content being presented is monitored to determine whether the content meets a criterion. An amount of time the content being presented meets the criterion is measured. In response to determining that the amount of time exceeds a threshold, a communication is transmitted to a second user indicating that the content currently being presented to the first user exceeds the authorization level.

A method comprising:
- generating, for display, a content item on a first device of a first user;
- determining that the content item exceeds an authorization level, wherein the authorization level was assigned by a second user;
- based at least in part on the determining that the content item exceeds the authorization level:
- initiating a communication session between the first device of the first user and a second device of the second user, wherein the communication session is a video call session;
- and
- causing, at the first device, a display of at least one image of the second user received via the video call session to be overlaid over the display of the content item that was determined to exceed the authorization level assigned by the second user.
A system comprising:
- input/output circuitry configured to:
- generate, for display, a content item on a first device of a first user;
- control circuitry configured to:
- determine that the content item exceeds an authorization level, wherein the authorization level was assigned by a second user;
- based at least in part on the determining that the content item exceeds the authorization level:
- initiate a communication session between the first device of the first user and a second device of the second user, wherein the communication session is a video call session;
- and
- cause, at the first device, a display of at least one image of the second user received via the video call session to be overlaid over the display of the content item that was determined to exceed the authorization level assigned by the second user.
