Light field display system and display method for light field display system

A display method for a light field display system, comprising:

• determining parameters required for the light field display system to display an image at a preset display resolution;
• and
• determining display sub-pixels of a plurality of display sub-units comprised in the light field display system, display positions of the plurality of display sub-units, and display moments of the plurality of display sub-units according to the parameters;
• wherein the light field display system comprises:
• a plurality of display sub-units, wherein the plurality of display sub-units are arranged in a honeycomb shape, each display sub-unit of the plurality of display sub-units comprises a circular rotating structure and at least one first projection component disposed on an edge of the rotating structure, each first projection component of the at least one first projection component comprises a plurality of sub-pixels, and the at least one first projection component is configured to project, in a preset direction, emitted light of a sub-pixel in the at least one first projection component onto an imaging surface to form a first display sub-pixel;
• a unidirectional scattering film disposed on a side of a light emission surface of at least one display sub-unit of the plurality of display sub-units, wherein the unidirectional scattering film is configured to expand emitted light of the at least one display sub-unit in a first direction;
• and
• a control component built inside the rotating structure and electrically connected to at least one display sub-unit of the plurality of display sub-units, wherein the control component is configured to control rotation of the rotating structure and control display of at least one sub-pixel of the at least one display sub-unit.
