Abstract
An autostereoscopic display system may determine a stereoscopic pair of images, the stereoscopic pair of images including a left eye image and a right eye image. The autostereoscopic display system may determine first lighting parameters for a first subset of subpixels for forming the left eye image and second lighting parameters for a second subset of subpixels for forming the right eye image, wherein the first lighting parameters include a first intensity profile that includes a reduced intensity at a periphery of the first subset of subpixels to thereby reduce crosstalk.
Claims20
A method of operating an autostereoscopic display, the method comprising:
- determining a stereoscopic image pair, the stereoscopic image pair including a left eye image and a right eye image;
- identifying a first subset of a plurality of subpixels for forming the left eye image;
- and
- applying a first intensity profile to the first subset that includes a reduced intensity at a periphery of the left eye image to thereby reduce crosstalk.
A computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions that when executed by a processor perform a method comprising:
- determining a stereoscopic image pair, the stereoscopic image pair including a left eye image and a right eye image;
- identifying a first subset of a plurality of subpixels for forming the left eye image;
- and
- applying a first intensity profile to the first subset that includes a reduced intensity at a periphery of the left eye image to thereby reduce crosstalk.
A system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory comprising instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
- determining a stereoscopic image pair, the stereoscopic image pair including a left eye image and a right eye image;
- identifying a first subset of a plurality of subpixels for forming the left eye image;
- and
- applying a first intensity profile to the first subset that includes a reduced intensity at a periphery of the left eye image to thereby reduce crosstalk.
