Document conveying device

Abstract

A document conveying device includes a pair of conveying guides, a reading section, a pair of first conveying rollers, a pair of second conveying rollers, and a first contact member. The conveying guides face to both surfaces of a document conveyed in a predetermined conveyance direction. The reading section is provided on the one conveying guide for reading an image from the document. The first conveying rollers is provided at an upstream side of the reading section in the conveyance direction for holding and conveying the document. The second conveying rollers is provided at a downstream side of the reading section in the conveyance direction for holding and conveying the document. The first contact member is provided on the other conveying guide between the reading section and the second conveying rollers and have a distal end part protruding toward the one conveying guide in contact with the document.
