Application programming interface to indicate a technique to perform a wireless cell

A system comprising:

• one or more processors, in response to a call of an application programming interface (API) that indicates one or more quality-of-service (QoS) requirements:
• identify one or more processing operations related to a radio access network (RAN);
• select, based at least on the one or more QoS requirements, one or more hardware processing resources, from a plurality of heterogeneous hardware processing resources, for executing the one or more processing operations;
• and
• execute the one or more processing operations using the selected one or more hardware processing resources.

A method comprising:

• in response to a call of an application programming interface (API) that indicates one or more quality-of-service (QoS) requirements,
• identifying one or more processing operations related to a radio access network (RAN);
• selecting, based at least on the one or more QoS requirements, one or more hardware processing resources, from a plurality of heterogeneous hardware processing resources, for executing the one or more processing operations;
• and
• executing the one or more processing operations using the selected one or more hardware processing resources.
