Abstract
A system receives a request to execute an update to a fabric parameter. The request includes a fabric attribute. The system identifies a fabric, in a network model, that corresponds to the fabric attribute. The system generates a configuration template that includes the update to the fabric parameter. The system uploads the configuration template to multiple network devices of the fabric. The multiple network devices, respectively, receive the configuration template and execute the update to the fabric parameter based on the configuration template.
Claims22
A method, comprising:
- receiving a request to execute an update to a fabric parameter, the request comprising a fabric attribute;
- identifying, in a network model, a first fabric corresponding to the fabric attribute;
- generating a configuration template comprising the update to the fabric parameter;
- uploading the configuration template to a first plurality of network devices of the first fabric, wherein the first plurality of network devices, respectively, receive the configuration template and execute the update to the fabric parameter based on the configuration template;
- wherein the method is performed by at least one device including a hardware processor.
One or more non-transitory computer readable media storing instructions that, when executed by one or more hardware processors, cause performance of a set of operations comprising:
- receiving a request to execute an update to a fabric parameter, the request comprising a fabric attribute;
- identifying, in a network model, a first fabric corresponding to the fabric attribute;
- generating a configuration template comprising the update to the fabric parameter;
- uploading the configuration template to a first plurality of network devices of the first fabric, wherein the first plurality of network devices, respectively, receive the configuration template and execute the update to the fabric parameter based on the configuration template.
A system comprising:
- one or more hardware processors;
- one or more non-transitory computer-readable media;
- and
- program instructions stored on the one or more non-transitory computer-readable media that, when executed by the one or more hardware processors, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a request to execute an update to a fabric parameter, the request comprising a fabric attribute;
- identifying, in a network model, a first fabric corresponding to the fabric attribute;
- generating a configuration template comprising the update to the fabric parameter;
- uploading the configuration template to a first plurality of network devices of the first fabric, wherein the first plurality of network devices, respectively, receive the configuration template and execute the update to the fabric parameter based on the configuration template.
