A method for controlling a network device that is configured to provide a website comprising information for the network device, the method comprising:

• executing notification processing for performing notifications of information relating to the network device via a push service to an application that has been installed on a terminal by accessing the website and that has at least one function of the website;
• transmitting, to the application via the push service, a request for suppression of the notifications when beginning of procedures to resolve an abnormality of the network device has been detected;
• and
• transmitting, to the application via the push service, a request to remove the suppression of the notifications when completion of the procedures is detected.

A non-transitory storage medium storing a control program of a network device causing a computer to perform each step of a control method of the network device, the method comprising:

• executing notification processing for performing notifications of information relating to the network device via a push service to an application that has been installed on a terminal by accessing the website and that has at least one function of the website;
• transmitting, to the application via the push service, a request for suppression the notifications when beginning of procedures to resolve an abnormality of the network device has been detected;
• and
• transmitting, to the application via the push service, a request to remove the suppression of the notifications when completion of the procedures is detected.
