Abstract
A transmission method and device based on preamble puncturing in a wireless LAN system are disclosed. A method by which a first STA performs communication in a wireless LAN system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: receiving a first PPDU from a second STA; acquiring information related to at least one first punctured resource unit; and transmitting, in response to the first PPDU, to the second STA, a second PPDU based on at least one second punctured resource unit, wherein the at least one first punctured resource unit can be at least one part of the at least one second punctured resource unit.
Claims9
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a first station (STA) from a second STA, a management frame including an extremely high throughput (EHT) operation element, wherein the EHT operation element includes a disabled subchannel bitmap subfield related to at least one punctured subchannel;
- receiving, by the first STA from the second STA, a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) including a multi-user (MU) request-to-send (RTS) trigger frame;
- and
- in response to the first PPDU, transmitting, by the first STA to the second STA, a second PPDU including a clear-to-send (CTS) frame over at least one subchannel excluding the at least one punctured subchannel based on the disabled subchannel bitmap subfield,
- wherein the first PPDU is an EHT MU PPDU format, and
- wherein a universal-signal (U-SIG) field of the first PPDU includes information related to the at least one punctured subchannel.
A first station (STA) comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the one or more transceivers;
- wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
- receive, from a second STA through the at least one transceiver, a management frame including an extremely high throughput (EHT) operation element, wherein the EHT operation element includes a disabled subchannel bitmap subfield related to at least one punctured subchannel;
- receive, through the at least one transceiver, a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) including a multi-user (MU) request-to-send (RTS) trigger frame from the second STA;
- and
- in response to the first PPDU, transmit, to the second STA through the at least one transceiver, a second PPDU including a clear-to-send (CTS) frame over at least one subchannel excluding the at least one punctured subchannel based on the disabled subchannel bitmap subfield,
- wherein the first PPDU is an EHT MU PPDU format, and
- wherein a universal-signal (U-SIG) field of the first PPDU includes information related to the at least one punctured subchannel.
A second station (STA) comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the one or more transceivers;
- wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
- transmit, to a first station (STA), a management frame including an extremely high throughput (EHT) operation element, wherein the EHT operation element includes a disabled subchannel bitmap subfield related to at least one punctured subchannel;
- transmit, to a first STA through the at least one transceiver, a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) including a multi-user (MU) request-to-send (RTS) trigger frame;
- and
- receive, from the first STA through the at least one transceiver, a second PPDU including a clear-to-send (CTS) frame over at least one subchannel excluding the at least one punctured subchannel based on the disabled subchannel bitmap subfield,
- wherein the first PPDU is an EHT MU PPDU format, and
- wherein a universal-signal (U-SIG) field of the first PPDU includes information related to the at least one punctured subchannel.
