Abstract
Provided are an encoding method, a decoding method, a communication node, and a storage medium. The encoding method includes the following: An uncoded physical frame is acquired, where the uncoded physical frame includes a first data block and a second data block, and the first data block includes a type of a flexible forward error correction (FEC) code. The second data block is encoded according to the type of the flexible FEC code.

An encoding method, the method being applied to a first communication node and comprising:
- acquiring an uncoded physical frame, wherein the uncoded physical frame comprises a first data block and a second data block, and the first data block comprises a type of a flexible forward error correction (FEC) code;
- and
- encoding the second data block according to the type of the flexible FEC code.

- determining a type of a flexible forward error correction (FEC) code;

- decoding a second codeword of encoded data according to the type of the flexible FEC code to obtain a second data block.
