Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for beam reporting using artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) time domain prediction. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station, a first configuration for a first set of downlink (DL) reference signals (RSs); The UE measures the first set of DL RSs at a plurality of measurement occasions and, based on the measuring, determines one or more selected beams corresponding to the first set of DL RSs for reporting to the base station. The UE then transmits, to the base station, an indication of the one or more selected beams and feedback data corresponding to at least one of the one or more selected beams.
