Compensation filter circuit

A method for compensating a processed signal comprising a frequency response that varies based on one or more environment characteristics, the method comprising:

• receiving, at a compensation filter circuit, the processed signal;
• generating a base compensated signal by applying a base compensation filter to the processed signal,
• wherein the base compensation filter compensates for a baseline frequency response of the processed signal;
• generating a difference compensated signal by applying a difference compensation filter to the processed signal,
• wherein the difference compensation filter is based on a difference between a maximum frequency response associated with the processed signal and a minimum frequency response associated with the processed signal;
• scaling the difference compensated signal based on the one or more environment characteristics to generate a scaled difference compensated signal;
• and
• generating an output signal based on the scaled difference compensated signal and the base compensated signal.

An electrical system comprising:

• a signal processing circuit configured to receive an input signal and generate a processed signal, wherein the processed signal comprises an amplitude that varies based on a frequency of the processed signal;
• and
• a compensation filter circuit comprising:
• a base compensation filter configured to generate a base compensated signal based on the processed signal,
• wherein the base compensation filter is configured to compensate for a baseline frequency response of the processed signal;
• a difference compensation filter configured to generate a difference compensated signal based on the processed signal,
• wherein the difference compensation filter is based on a difference between a maximum frequency response associated with the processed signal and a minimum frequency response associated with the processed signal;
• and
• scaling circuitry configured to generate a scaled difference compensated signal based on the difference compensated signal and one or more environment characteristics;
• wherein an output signal is generated based on the scaled difference compensated signal and the base compensated signal.
