Abstract
A method and a controller are provided for controlling a filter cell including a DC intermediate circuit. An input of the filter cell is coupled to a phase output of a phase leg of an inverter. The filter cell is configured to selectively connect the input to an output via the DC intermediate circuit or to connect the input directly to the output so that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed. The controller operates the filter cell to bypass the DC intermediate circuit when an absolute value of a reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter lies with a predetermined range.
Claims21
A method for controlling a filter cell, wherein the filter cell comprises a direct current (DC) intermediate circuit, wherein an input of the filter cell is coupled to a phase output of a phase leg of an inverter, and wherein the filter cell is configured to be controllable to connect the input of the filter cell to an output of the filter cell via the DC intermediate circuit and to alternatively connect the input of the filter cell to the output of the filter cell such that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed, the method comprising:
- monitoring a reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter;
- and
- controlling the filter cell to connect the input of the filter cell to the output of the filter cell such that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed in response to an absolute value of the reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter being within a predetermined range.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium embodying programmed instructions which, when executed by a computing apparatus controlling a filter cell, wherein the filter cell comprises a direct current (DC) intermediate circuit, wherein an input of the filter cell is coupled to a phase output of a phase leg of an inverter, and wherein the filter cell is configured to be controllable to connect the input of the filter cell to an output of the filter cell via the DC intermediate circuit and to alternatively connect the input of the filter cell to the output of the filter cell such that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed, cause the computing apparatus to:
- monitor a reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter;
- and
- control the filter cell to connect the input of the filter cell to the output of the filter cell such that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed in response to an absolute value of the reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter being within a predetermined range.
A controller for controlling a filter cell, wherein the filter cell comprises a direct current (DC) intermediate circuit, wherein an input of the filter cell is coupled to a phase output of a phase leg of an inverter, and wherein the filter cell is configured to be controllable to connect the input of the filter cell to an output of the filter cell via the DC intermediate circuit and to alternatively connect the input of the filter cell to the output of the filter cell such that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed, the controller configured to:
- monitor a reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter;
- and
- control the filter cell to connect the input of the filter cell to the output of the filter cell such that the DC intermediate circuit is bypassed in response to an absolute value of the reference signal of the phase leg of the inverter being within a predetermined range.
