Abstract
A power receiving apparatus outputs power wirelessly received from the power transmitting apparatus to a load, and performs processing for updating a parameter used by the power transmitting apparatus for detecting an object different from the power receiving apparatus based on a change in a voltage applied to the load.

A power receiving apparatus, comprising:
- a power receiving unit that wirelessly receives power from a power transmitting apparatus;
- a communication unit that communicates with the power transmitting apparatus;
- and
- a changing unit that changes a voltage of the power receiving apparatus,
- wherein
- the communication unit transmits a first received power packet including information indicating a first received power value, to the power transmitting apparatus,
- the changing unit changes Guaranteed Power, after the first received power packet is transmitted, and changes a voltage of the power receiving apparatus based on an authentication to the power transmitting apparatus,
- the communication unit transmits, after the voltage of the power receiving apparatus is changed, a second received power packet including information indicating a second received power value, and
- the communication unit transmits identification information to the power transmitting apparatus.

- transmitting a first received power packet including information indicating a first received power value, to a power transmitting apparatus;
