Abstract
A system according to an aspect includes a plurality of devices connected to a plurality of solar panels and transmitting request messages each including unique information, while adjusting transmit power and receive sensitivity, and a gateway that receives the request messages from the plurality of devices while adjusting the transmit power and the receive sensitivity, wherein the gateway connects the plurality of devices to a network based on the received request messages each time the transmit power and the receive sensitivity increase stepwise from a lowest value.

A system comprising:
- a plurality of devices connected to a plurality of solar panels and transmitting request messages each including unique information, while adjusting transmit power and receive sensitivity;
- and
- a gateway that receives the request messages from the plurality of devices while adjusting the transmit power and the receive sensitivity,
- wherein the gateway
- connects the plurality of devices to a network based on the received request messages each time the transmit power and the receive sensitivity increase stepwise from a lowest value.
A method of connecting a plurality of devices to a network in a photovoltaic system, the method comprising:
- transmitting, by the plurality of devices, request messages each including unique information;
- receiving, by a gateway, the request message from a first device closest to the gateway from among the plurality of devices;
- and
- connecting the first device to the network, based on identifying that the first device has received a response message transmitted to the first device.
