Abstract
A laser emitter assembly for providing an output laser beam at an output of the laser emitter assembly is provided. The laser emitter assembly includes a plurality of laser emitter devices, and an optical device positioned between the output and the plurality of laser emitter devices. Each laser emitter device is configured to generate a respective laser beam that propagates in a respective propagation direction. The laser beams pass through the optical device for changing the propagation directions, The output laser beam is formed from the laser beams of the plurality of laser emitter devices.
Claims13
A laser emitter assembly for providing an output laser beam at an output of the laser emitter assembly, the laser emitter assembly comprising:
- a plurality of laser emitter devices, and
- an optical device positioned between the output and the plurality of laser emitter devices,
- wherein each laser emitter device is configured to generate a respective laser beam that propagates in a respective propagation direction,
- wherein the laser beams pass through the optical device for changing the propagation directions, and
- wherein the output laser beam is formed from the laser beams of the plurality of laser emitter devices.
A method for providing an output laser beam at an output of a laser emitter assembly, the method comprising:
- arranging an optical device of the laser emitter assembly between the output and a plurality of laser emitter devices of the laser emitter assembly,
- generating laser beams using the plurality of laser emitter devices, each of respective laser beam propagates in a respective propagation direction,
- changing the propagation directions of the plurality of laser beams by using the optical device as the laser beams pass through the optical device, and
- forming the output laser beam from the laser beams of the plurality of laser emitter devices.
