Contacting element for a contact assembly and a contact assembly for shielded connectors

A contact assembly set comprising:

• a first contact assembly and a second contact assembly, wherein the first contact assembly and the second contact assembly being identical and each including a contacting element including a cable-side end and a plug-side end, the plug side end including a first lamella arrangement with at least two lamellae radially opposite each other with respect to a center axis of the contacting element and a second lamella arrangement with at least two lamellae radially opposite each other with respect to the center axis of the contacting element, wherein the lamellae of the first lamella arrangement and the lamellae of the second lamella arrangement are arranged in a circumferential direction extending around the center axis at the plug-side end, wherein the second lamella arrangement is offset in the circumferential direction relative to the first lamella arrangement wherein the plug-side ends of the first and second contact assemblies are identically configured to be plugged together along a plugin direction, the lamellae of the first contact assembly being arranged between the lamellae of the second contact assembly in the plugged-in state.
