Abstract
Disclosed is a rechargeable lithium battery, including an electrode current collector, a tab portion extending from the electrode current collector, an electrode active material layer on the electrode current collector, and an insulation layer on the tab portion. The insulation layer includes a binder and an inorganic filler, and the binder includes at least one of polyimide, polyamide, or a combination thereof.
Claims12
A rechargeable lithium battery, comprising:
- an electrode current collector;
- a tab portion extending from the electrode current collector;
- an electrode active material layer on the electrode current collector;
- and
- an insulation layer on the tab portion;
- wherein the insulation layer comprises a binder and an inorganic filler, and
- the binder comprises at least one of polyimide, polyamide, and a combination thereof.
