Abstract

A battery cell includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode, a second electrode having a polarity opposite to that of the first electrode, and a separator configured to separate the first electrode from the second electrode, a case configured to accommodate the electrode assembly, a through-hole passing through one side of both sides of the case, a terminal part of which a portion is inserted into the through-hole and which is electrically connected to one of the first electrode and the second electrode, and a cover member that is in contact with one surface of the case and configured to surround the terminal part.
