Abstract
A system (1000) having a coating device (100) for applying a coating medium on a component (10), the coating device (100) comprising a registration feature (102) configured to register at least one geometrical property (h) of the component (10) and at least coating nozzle (104) displaceable in relation to the component (10) and configured to, in particular selectively, apply the coating medium as a function of the at least one geometrical property (h) and as a function of at least one predetermined component-dependent coating criterion based on the at least one geometrical property (h).

A coating device (100) for applying a coating medium on a component (10), the coating device (100) comprising a registration feature (102) configured to register at least one geometrical property (h) of the component (10) and at least one coating nozzle (104) displaceable in relation to the component (10) and configured to coat only selected areas of a component surface of the component (10) with the coating medium as a function of the at least one geometrical property (h) and as a function of at least one predetermined, component-dependent coating criterion based on the at least one geometrical property (h).
A method for applying a coating medium on a component (10), the method including the steps of registering (S1) at least one geometrical property (h) of the component (10) by means of a registration feature (102) and of only selectively coating (S2) areas of a component surface of the component (10) via the coating medium as a function of the at least one geometrical property and as a function of at least one predetermined component-dependent coating criterion based on a geometrical property via at least one coating nozzle (104) displaceable in relation to the component (10).
