Abstract
There can be provided a treatment method of separating a positive electrode and a negative electrode in a short time. Provided is a treatment method for a waste solid-state battery 100 that includes a solid electrolyte 10 and a negative electrode material 12, and at least one selected from them is water-soluble. The method includes a step of immersing an electrode assembly of the waste solid-state battery 100 in water, and a step of reducing a pressure of a surrounding environment of the water.

A treatment method for a waste solid-state battery,
- the waste solid-state battery including a solid electrolyte and a negative electrode material, wherein at least one selected from the solid electrolyte and the negative electrode material is water-soluble and generates gas when immersed in water,
- the method comprising:
- a step of immersing an electrode assembly of the waste solid-state battery in water;
- and
- a step of reducing a pressure of a surrounding environment of the water.
