Abstract

A tab-through device, assembly apparatus, and assembly method for a battery are disclosed. The battery includes a housing and an electrode assembly. The housing is provided with an accommodation chamber, and a through hole is formed in the housing. The electrode assembly is arranged in the accommodation chamber. The tab-through device is configured to guide a tab part of the electrode assembly to extend out of the through hole. The tab-through device includes a guiding member and a support mechanism. The support mechanism is connected to the guiding member. The guiding member is configured to extend into the accommodation chamber and guide the tab part to extend out of the accommodation chamber through the through hole. According to the above method, the battery can be assembled with less difficulty.

A tab-through device for a battery, wherein the battery comprises a housing and an electrode assembly, wherein the housing is provided with an accommodation chamber, a through hole that communicates the accommodation chamber with the outside is formed in the housing, the electrode assembly is arranged in the accommodation chamber, and the tab-through device is configured to guide a tab part of the electrode assembly to extend out of the through hole;

and the tab-through device comprises:
a guiding member configured to pass through the through hole;
and
a support mechanism connected to the guiding member for fixing a first end of the guiding member;
wherein the guiding member is configured to extend into the accommodation chamber and guide the tab part to extend out of the accommodation chamber through the through hole.

An assembly method for a battery, wherein the battery comprises a housing and an electrode assembly, wherein the housing is provided with an accommodation chamber, a through hole that communicates the accommodation chamber with the outside is formed in the housing, the electrode assembly is arranged in the accommodation chamber, and a tab-through device is configured to guide a tab part of the electrode assembly to extend out of the through hole;

and the assembly method comprises:
controlling a guiding member to pass through the through hole into the accommodation chamber, and controlling the housing to sleeve onto the electrode assembly;
and
during a process of sleeving the housing onto the electrode assembly, controlling the guiding member to contact the tab part, such that the tab part overlaps onto the guiding member, so as to guide the tab part to pass through the through hole and extend out of the accommodation chamber.
