Electronic component

An electronic component, comprising:

• a ceramic body including a first main surface and a second main surface opposing each other and a side surface coupling the first main surface and the second main surface;
• a first electrode disposed on the first main surface;
• a second electrode disposed on the second main surface;
• a first metal terminal connected to the first electrode;
• a second metal terminal connected to the second electrode;
• and
• an exterior body covering the ceramic body, the first electrode, the second electrode, a part of the first metal terminal, and a part of the second metal terminal, wherein
• the exterior body includes a third main surface that opposes the side surface and is arranged to constitute a mounting surface, and a first side surface and a second side surface that oppose the side surface, are adjacent to the third main surface, and oppose each other,
• the first metal terminal is exposed from the exterior body at the first side surface, and includes a first inner portion located in the exterior body and a first outer portion located outside the exterior body,
• the second metal terminal is exposed from the exterior body at the second side surface, and includes a second inner portion located in the exterior body and a second outer portion located outside the exterior body,
• the ceramic body is located on one side of a plane that is perpendicular to the third main surface and includes a first position on the first side surface at which the first metal terminal is exposed and a second position on the second side surface at which the second metal terminal is exposed,
• the ceramic body and the first outer portion are configured such that the ceramic body and the first outer portion overlap each other in a view from a side of the first side surface in a direction parallel to the third main surface and the plane, and
• the ceramic body and the second outer portion are configured such that the ceramic body and the second outer portion overlap each other in a view from a side of the second side surface in a direction parallel to the third main surface and the plane.
