Abstract
A magnetic fluid composition includes a dispersoid and a dispersion medium, wherein the dispersoid contains metal magnetic particles having an average particle diameter of 5 μm or more and 120 μm or less and silica particles having an average particle diameter of 10 nm or more and 500 nm or less, the dispersion medium contains an ionic liquid and an additive containing a polymer or oligomer having a urea structure, the content ratio of the silica particles with respect to a total amount of the magnetic fluid composition is 0.01 mass % or more and 5 mass % or less, and the content ratio of the additive with respect to a total amount of the silica particles is 50 mass % or more and 200 mass % or less.
