Abstract

This grain-oriented electrical steel sheet is a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet including a base steel sheet and an insulating coating formed on a surface of the base steel sheet, in which the base steel sheet includes a flat surface part and a groove part extending in a direction of 45 to 135° with respect to a rolling direction, the groove part has a depth of 10 to 30 μm and a width of 10 to 200 μm, the insulating coating includes an intermediate layer formed on a side of the base steel sheet, containing a crystalline metal phosphate, and having a thickness of 0.1 to 15.0 μm, and a tension coating layer formed on a surface side of the insulating coating, and the base steel sheet is covered with the insulating coating including the intermediate layer and the tension coating layer in 60% or more of the groove part in terms of area ratio.
