Abstract
A rare earth bonded magnet includes a rare earth bonded magnet containing rare earth magnet powder and a resin cured product of a thermosetting resin. The rare earth magnet powder is isotropic Nd—Fe—B based magnet powder, the thermosetting resin is an epoxy resin, the resin cured product is contained in an amount of more than 5 wt % and 6.5 wt % or less in 100 wt % of the rare earth bonded magnet, and the rare earth bonded magnet has a porosity of less than 5%, a radial crushing strength of 60 MPa or more, and an electrical resistivity of 100 μΩ·m or more.
Claims8
A rare earth bonded magnet comprising:
- rare earth magnet powder;
- and
- a resin cured product of a thermosetting resin, wherein
- the rare earth magnet powder is isotropic Nd—Fe—B based magnet powder,
- the thermosetting resin is an epoxy resin,
- the resin cured product is contained in an amount of more than 5 wt % and 6.5 wt % or less in 100 wt % of the rare earth bonded magnet, and
- the rare earth bonded magnet has a porosity of less than 5%, a radial crushing strength of 60 MPa or more, and an electrical resistivity of 100 μΩ·m or more.
A rare earth bonded magnet comprising:
- rare earth magnet powder and a resin cured product of a thermosetting resin, wherein
- the thermosetting resin is an epoxy resin,
- the resin cured product is contained in an amount of more than 5 wt % and 6.5 wt % or less in 100 wt % of the rare earth bonded magnet,
- a particle size of the rare earth magnet powder is 45 μm or less, and
- a surface of the rare earth magnet powder is coated with a compound containing phosphorus.
