A system comprising:

• circuitry configured to:
• acquire, via an input apparatus comprising a plurality of microphones, signal data representing an external acoustic environment and generate multi-channel digitized audio data from the signal data;
• perform signal processing on the multi-channel digitized audio data comprising source localization processing to determine a direction of an acoustic source, directivity formation processing to emphasize acoustic information from the determined direction, and noise suppression processing to attenuate environmental noise components, and segment the signal-processed audio data into time frames;
• calculate feature information comprising frequency information and loudness information for each time frame, generate text information comprising the feature information and user attribute information, and transmit the text information as a prompt sentence to a generative artificial intelligence model via a communication interface operating over a packet-switched network using a transport layer security protocol;
• receive, from the generative artificial intelligence model, structured instruction information comprising at least a frequency band emphasis parameter, a noise suppression parameter, a loudness parameter, and at least one of a pitch correction parameter, a visual presentation parameter, and a haptic presentation parameter;
• convert the multi-channel digitized audio data based on the structured instruction information by executing at least one processing selected from equalization processing, dynamic range control processing, pitch conversion processing, and speech synthesis processing to generate enhanced output data;
• perform classification processing on the signal-processed audio data to identify an event comprising at least one of an alarm sound, a warning sound, and an emergency broadcast;
• control an audio output apparatus to reproduce the enhanced output data as audio, control a display apparatus to present at least one of character information and graphic information based on the structured instruction information, and when the event is identified, control a haptic output apparatus to output a predetermined vibration pattern;
• and
• store, in a storage medium, the structured instruction information and user setting information comprising at least one of an environment type, a listening purpose, a preferred frequency band, and a notification mode, and automatically change processing conditions for subsequent audio data based on the stored information.

A method performed by circuitry of a system, the method comprising:

• acquiring, via an input apparatus, signal data representing an external acoustic environment and generating digitized audio data from the signal data;
• performing signal processing on the digitized audio data to suppress environmental noise components and segmenting the signal-processed audio data into time frames;
• generating text information comprising feature information extracted from the time frames and user attribute information, and transmitting the text information as a prompt sentence to a generative artificial intelligence model via a communication interface operating over a packet-switched network;
• receiving, from the generative artificial intelligence model, structured instruction information specifying at least adjustment parameters for the digitized audio data;
• converting the digitized audio data based on the structured instruction information to generate enhanced output data;
• and
• controlling an output apparatus to present the enhanced output data to a user.
