Abstract
A driver includes first to n-th capacitors provided between an output terminal and first to n-th capacitor driving nodes, a capacitor driving circuit configured to output first to n-th capacitor driving voltages corresponding to capacitive driving data to the first to n-th capacitor driving nodes, and a control circuit configured to output the capacitive driving data based on gradation data. The control circuit sets the capacitive driving data in a way that an amount of electric charge at a node of the output terminal is changed by an amount of change in electric charge greater than an amount of change in electric charge corresponding to an amount of change in the gradation data in a predetermined period where the gradation data changes.
Claims9
A driver comprising:
- first to n-th capacitors provided between an output terminal electrically coupled to a signal supply line of an electro-optical panel and first to n-th capacitor driving nodes, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to two;
- a capacitor driving circuit configured to output first to n-th capacitor driving voltages corresponding to capacitive driving data to the first to n-th capacitor driving nodes;
- and
- a control circuit configured to output the capacitive driving data based on gradation data,
- wherein the control circuit is configured to set the capacitive driving data in a way that an amount of electric charge at a node of the output terminal is changed by an amount of change in electric charge greater than an amount of change in electric charge corresponding to an amount of change in the gradation data in a predetermined period containing a change timing when the gradation data changes.
