Display device and pixel ic

A display device comprising:

• a plurality of display elements;
• a plurality of pixel ICs;
• and
• a driver IC, wherein the pixel ICs each comprise
• a clock signal input terminal to which a clock signal is input,
• an image data input terminal to which image data is input,
• a clock signal output terminal from which the clock signal is output,
• an image data output terminal from which the image data is output, and
• a coupling terminal coupled to at least one of the display elements,
• the pixel ICs comprise a first pixel IC and a second pixel IC coupled in series,
• the clock signal input terminal and the image data input terminal of the first pixel IC are coupled to the driver IC,
• the clock signal output terminal of the first pixel IC is coupled to the clock signal input terminal of the second pixel IC, and
• the image data output terminal of the first pixel IC is coupled to the image data input terminal of the second pixel IC.
