Processing of media

A device for processing media, comprising:

• a safe;
• an internal storage installed within the safe;
• a conveyor configured to convey media between the internal storage and an external storage, the external storage being configured to be fixed to the device outside the safe;
• a temporary storage coupled to the conveyor;
• and
• a recognition sensor configured to recognize media conveyed by the conveyor, wherein the conveyor is configured to:
• perform first conveyance to convey media from the internal storage to the temporary storage;
• perform second conveyance to convey media from the external storage to the internal storage, after the first conveyance;
• and
• perform third conveyance to convey media from the temporary storage to the external storage, after the second conveyance, and
• the external storage is configured to be maintained in a fixed state to the device during the first conveyance to the third conveyance,
• wherein the device further comprises control circuitry configured to store information regarding the first conveyance, the second conveyance, and the third conveyance in a memory of the external storage.
