Abstract
An electronic apparatus includes a grip portion to be gripped by a hand of a user, a convex shape portion that is formed above the grip portion and protrudes outward from the grip portion to support holding weight of the electronic apparatus with a hand, and a fingerprint detection device disposed at a position touched by a fingertip beyond a first joint of a finger in a case where the user grips the grip portion with the finger of the hand along the convex shape portion, the fingerprint detection device having a fingerprint reading range in a longitudinal direction of the finger wider than a fingerprint reading range in a width direction of the finger.

An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a grip portion to be gripped by a hand of a user;
- a convex shape portion that is formed above the grip portion and protrudes outward from the grip portion to support holding weight of the electronic apparatus with a hand;
- and
- a first fingerprint detection device disposed at a position touched by a fingertip beyond a first joint of a finger in a case where the user grips the grip portion with the finger of the hand along the convex shape portion, the first fingerprint detection device having a fingerprint reading range in a longitudinal direction of the finger wider than a fingerprint reading range in a width direction of the finger.
