Color matching in combined 3d user representations

A device comprising:

• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium;
• and
• one or more processors coupled to the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprises program instructions that, when executed on the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
• obtaining a first three-dimensional (3D) representation of at least a first portion of a user;
• obtaining a sample 3D representation of at least a second portion of the user, wherein the first portion represents at least a part of the user that is different than the second portion of the user;
• filtering the sample 3D representation based on identifying parts of the sample 3D representation corresponding to non-skin features;
• adjusting the first 3D representation by adjusting one or more colors of the first 3D representation based on colors in the first 3D representation and colors in the filtered sample 3D representation;
• and
• providing the adjusted first 3D representation for generating combined 3D representations combining the adjusted first 3D representation with one or more second 3D representations.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, storing program instructions executable on a device including one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• obtaining a first three-dimensional (3D) representation of at least a first portion of a user;
• obtaining a sample 3D representation of at least a second portion of the user, wherein the first portion represents at least a part of the user that is different than the second portion of the user;
• filtering the sample 3D representation based on identifying parts of the sample 3D representation corresponding to non-skin features;
• adjusting the first 3D representation by adjusting one or more colors of the first 3D representation based on colors in the first 3D representation and colors in the filtered sample 3D representation;
• and
• providing the adjusted first 3D representation for generating combined 3D representations combining the adjusted first 3D representation with one or more second 3D representations.
