Tradeshow backdrop augmented reality system

A method of obtaining user contact information using an augmented reality system at a tradeshow, the method comprising the steps of:

• (a) displaying a display member at a booth of an exhibitor, wherein the display member includes at least a first image target that includes first linked augmented reality content,
• (b) prompting a user to utilize a mobile device that includes software running thereon that is associated with the augmented reality system, wherein the software is in communication with a target database, wherein the mobile device includes a camera that has a camera lens, wherein the user orients the mobile device such that the camera lens is directed toward the display member, wherein the first image target is recognized by the software and the first linked augmented reality content is displayed on the mobile device, wherein the user views the first linked augmented reality content on a screen of the mobile device, wherein the first linked augmented reality content is a game that includes a prize indicator, wherein the user plays the game and is informed of the prize indicator,
• (c) prompting the user to submit the user contact information, wherein the user contact information is stored in a user database, and
• (d) providing the user with a prize that is associated with the prize indicator after the user has submitted the user contact information.
