Anonymization of data records having geographical locations

A second network node device, comprising:

• a processing circuitry;
• and
• a memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry whereby the processing circuitry is configured to:
• receive, from a fifth network node device over a network, an indication that includes a first data record associated with a seller account having a seller identifier and a trade value for offering the first data record in a marketplace transaction, the first data record including a data record identifier;
• obtain an anonymized data record corresponding to the first data record, the anonymized data record including an anonymized data record identifier that represents the data record identifier;
• generate web compatible marketplace content representing the anonymized data record and make the content available to a plurality of sixth network node devices over the network for rendering by web browsers of the plurality of sixth network node devices to solicit bids for the first data record while withholding personally identifiable information of the first data record from the web compatible marketplace content, wherein the plurality of sixth network node devices are associated with a plurality of buyer accounts having respective buyer identifiers;
• receive, from one of the plurality of sixth network node devices associated with a first buyer account of the plurality of buyer accounts, a bid request corresponding to the anonymized data record and including a first bid value, a first buyer identifier, and the anonymized data record identifier;
• route the bid request to the fifth network node device by converting the anonymized data record identifier into the data record identifier of the first data record and sending, to the fifth network node device over the network, an indication that includes the first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the data record identifier;
• receive, from the fifth network node device over the network, an acceptance indication identifying the first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the data record identifier;
• obtain, from the one of the plurality of sixth network node devices associated with the first buyer account, a confirmation indication confirming the accepted first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the anonymized data record identifier;
• responsive to obtaining the confirmation indication, generate a transaction completion indication configured to cause assignment of the first data record to the first buyer account, the transaction completion indication including the first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the data record identifier or the anonymized data record identifier;
• obtain, based on the anonymized data record identifier, the first data record;
• and
• generate post-assignment content based on the first data record and transmit the post-assignment content over the network to the one of the plurality of sixth network node devices associated with the first buyer account.

A system, comprising:

• a second network node device;
• a fifth network node device associated with a seller account having a seller identifier and operably coupled to the second network node device over the network;
• a plurality of sixth network node devices associated with a plurality of buyer accounts having respective buyer identifiers and operably coupled to the second network node device over the network;
• wherein the fifth network node device is operable to send, to the second network node device, an indication that includes a first data record associated with the seller account and a trade value for offering the first data record in a marketplace transaction, the first data record including a data record identifier;
• wherein the second network node device is operable to obtain an anonymized data record corresponding to the first data record, the anonymized data record including an anonymized data record identifier that represents the data record identifier;
• wherein the second network node device is operable to generate web compatible marketplace content representing the anonymized data record and make the content available to the plurality of sixth network node devices over the network for rendering by web browsers of the plurality of sixth network node devices to solicit bids for the first data record while withholding personally identifiable information of the first data record from the web compatible marketplace content;
• wherein one of the plurality of sixth network node devices associated with a first buyer account of the plurality of buyer accounts is operable to send, to the second network node device, a bid request corresponding to the anonymized data record and including a first bid value, a first buyer identifier, and the anonymized data record identifier;
• wherein the second network node device is operable to route the bid request to the fifth network node device by converting the anonymized data record identifier into the data record identifier of the first data record and sending, to the fifth network node device, an indication that includes the first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the data record identifier;
• wherein the fifth network node device is operable to send, to the second network node device, an acceptance indication identifying the first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the data record identifier;
• wherein the one of the plurality of sixth network node devices associated with the first buyer account is operable to provide, to the second network node device, a confirmation indication confirming the accepted first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the anonymized data record identifier;
• wherein the second network node device is operable, responsive to the confirmation indication, to generate a transaction completion indication configured to cause assignment of the first data record to the first buyer account, the transaction completion indication including the first bid value, the first buyer identifier, and the data record identifier or the anonymized data record identifier;
• wherein the second network node device is operable, based on the anonymized data record identifier, to obtain the first data record;
• and
• wherein the second network node device is operable to generate post-assignment content based on the first data record and transmit the post-assignment content over the network to the one of the plurality of sixth network node devices associated with the first buyer account.
