System and Method of Automated Quality Assurance and Performance Testing Framework

A computer-implemented method for quality assurance and performance testing of supply chain applications and systems, comprising:

• providing an automation testing framework comprising:
• an untrust layer comprising one or more clients, a web services layer comprising a QAP web server with a user interface, an app services layer comprising a QAP app server, and an infrastructure layer comprising one or more infrastructure servers;
• providing, by the one or more infrastructure servers, one or more services;
• receiving, by the QAP web server, test case files and properties files from the one or more clients in the untrust layer;
• initiating, by the QAP app server, one or more tests on one or more servers;
• executing, by one or more servers of the web services layer and the app services layer, the one or more tests in parallel;
• displaying, by a testing system interface, an alert overlay window comprising information describing a status of the one or more tests, wherein the alert overlay window further comprises a thread number of a test case;
• communicating, by the one or more servers, results and reports to the QAP app server;
• and
• providing, by the one or more infrastructure servers, one or more common services to the one or more clients in the untrust layer.

A tangible non-transitory computer-readable medium embodied with software, the software when executed configured to:

• provide, by one or more infrastructure servers, one or more services;
• receive, by a QAP web server, test case files and properties files from one or more clients in an untrust layer;
• initiate, by a QAP app server, one or more tests on one or more servers;
• execute, by one or more servers of a web services layer and an app services layer, the one or more tests in parallel;
• display, by a testing system interface, an alert overlay window comprising information describing a status of the one or more tests, wherein the alert overlay window further comprises a thread number of a test case;
• communicate, by the one or more servers, results and reports to the QAP app server;
• and
• provide, by the one or more infrastructure servers, one or more common services to the one or more clients in the untrust layer.
