Test case generation system

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:
• obtain a user interface (UI) screen to be tested;
• determine code for implementing the user interface (UI) screen;
• determine a category for the user interface (UI) screen based on content associated with the UI screen;
• determine reference user interface (UI) data corresponding to the category of the UI screen to be tested;
• generate a prompt to be used for generating a set of test cases for the user interface (UI) screen to be tested;
• provide the prompt as input to a machine learning (ML) model to generate a set of test cases for the user interface (UI) screen to be tested;
• and
• cause the execution of the set of test cases generated by the machine learning (ML) model to test the user interface (UI) screen to be tested, wherein the set of test cases are executed in a test execution platform.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions executable by a computer system that, when executed by one or more processors of the computer system, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• obtaining a user interface (UI) screen to be tested;
• determining code for implementing the user interface (UI) screen;
• determining a category for the user interface (UI) screen based on content associated with the UI screen;
• determining reference user interface (UI) data corresponding to the category of the UI screen to be tested;
• generating a prompt to be used for generating a set of test cases for the user interface (UI) screen to be tested;
• providing the prompt as input to a machine learning (ML) model to generate a set of test cases for the user interface (UI) screen to be tested;
• and
• causing the execution of the set of test cases generated by the machine learning (ML) model to test the user interface (UI) screen to be tested, wherein the set of test cases are executed in a test execution platform.
