Abstract
A processor frequency control method, for controlling a first processor frequency of a first processor of an electronic device, comprising: (a) applying a first frequency ceiling to the first processor frequency in a booting time interval, wherein the electronic device boots during the booting time interval; and (b) changing the first frequency ceiling to a second frequency ceiling higher than the first frequency ceiling; wherein the first frequency ceiling and the second frequency ceiling are lower than a maximum processor frequency of the processor.
Claims20
A processor frequency control method, for controlling a first processor frequency of a first processor of an electronic device, comprising:
- (a) applying a first frequency ceiling to the first processor frequency in a booting time interval, wherein the electronic device boots during the booting time interval;
- and
- (b) changing the first frequency ceiling to a second frequency ceiling higher than the first frequency ceiling;
- wherein the first frequency ceiling and the second frequency ceiling are lower than a maximum processor frequency of the processor.
An electronic device, comprising:
- a first processor, configured to perform following steps:
- (a) applying a first frequency ceiling to the first processor frequency in a booting time interval, wherein the electronic device boots during the booting time interval, ;
- and
- (b) changing the first frequency ceiling to a second frequency ceiling higher than the first frequency ceiling;
- wherein the first frequency ceiling and the second frequency ceiling are lower than a maximum processor frequency of the processor.
