Abstract
A printing system is disclosed. The printing system includes at least one physical memory device to store print evaluation logic and one or more processors coupled with the at least one physical memory device to execute the print evaluation logic to receive an input image file, process the input image file to generate a first contone image, generate ink usage estimation data based on the first contone image, identify the first contone image as the display image and initiate print preview display of the display image.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- at least one physical memory device to store print evaluation logic;
- and
- one or more processors coupled with the at least one physical memory device to execute the print evaluation logic to:
- receive an input image file;
- process the input image file to generate a first contone image;
- generate ink usage estimation data based on the first contone image;
- identify the first contone image as the display image;
- and
- initiate print preview display of the display image.
At least one computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon, which when executed by one or more processors, cause the processors to:
- receive an input image file;
- process the input image file to generate a first contone image;
- generate ink usage estimation data based on the first contone image;
- identify the first contone image as the display image;
- and
- initiate print preview display of the display image.
A method comprising:
- receiving an input image file;
- processing the input image file to generate a first contone image;
- generating ink usage estimation data based on the first contone image;
- identifying the first contone image as the display image;
- and
- initiating print preview display of the display image.
