Abstract
An order reception system includes: a display device including a display configured to display information on items, and an orientation changing mechanism configured to change an orientation of the display; and an order reception device configured to receive an order for an item displayed on the display. The orientation of the display is changed based on a position of a customer who orders the item through the order reception device.

An order reception system comprising:
- a display device including a display configured to display information on items, and an orientation changing mechanism configured to change an orientation of the display;

- an order reception device configured to receive an order for an item displayed on the display, wherein
- the orientation of the display is changed based on a position of a customer who orders the item through the order reception device.
