Electronic apparatus and control method for driving state control based on lifting and placement

A control method for an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:

• operating in a first driving state, wherein the electronic apparatus moves based on a first map of an area where the electronic apparatus is located in the first driving state;
• identifying whether the electronic apparatus was lifted while the electronic apparatus is operating in the first driving state;
• based on identifying that the electronic apparatus was lifted while the electronic apparatus is operating in the first driving state, obtaining information about a height at which the electronic apparatus is placed after being lifted based on a sensing value obtained from at least one sensor;
• and
• based on the height being within a first range, operating in a second driving state, wherein a speed of the electronic apparatus is limited to less than a first value in the second driving state.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor of an electronic apparatus, cause the electronic apparatus to:

• operate in a first driving state, wherein the electronic apparatus moves based on a first map of an area in which the electronic apparatus is located in the first driving state;
• identify whether the electronic apparatus was lifted while the electronic apparatus is operating in the first driving state;
• based on identifying that the electronic apparatus was lifted while the electronic apparatus is operating in the first driving state, obtain information about a height at which the electronic apparatus is placed after being lifted based on a sensing value obtained from at least one sensor;
• and
• based on the height being within a first range, operate in a second driving state, wherein a speed of the electronic apparatus is limited to less than a first value in the second driving state.
