Systems and methods for an automation ecosystem

A method comprising:

• receiving information about one or more trigger conditions;
• receiving information about one or more actions;
• determining, based on the one or more actions, one or more primary devices;
• determining, based on the one or more actions, one or more secondary devices, wherein the secondary devices are associated with the one or more primary devices;
• generating an automation routine identifier;
• generating an automation routine, wherein the automation routine includes the one or more trigger conditions, the one or more actions, and information about the one or more primary devices;
• assigning the automation routine identifier to the automation routine;
• and
• sending the automation routine to the one or more primary devices.

A system comprising:

• a first device;
• a second device communicably coupled to the first device;
• one or more third devices communicably coupled to the first device or the second device;
• and
• a memory device that stores instructions, which when executed by a processor of the first device, cause the processor to:
• determine that one or more trigger conditions are satisfied, wherein the one or more trigger conditions are associated with an automation routine;
• determine, based on the one or more trigger conditions being satisfied, an automation routine identifier associated with the automation routine;
• send the automation routine identifier to the second device;
• cause the second device to perform a first set of actions associated with the automation routine;
• perform a second set of actions associated with the automation routine;
• and
• receive, from the second device, a status update associated with execution of the automation routine.
