Abstract

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication module, at least one processor including a processing circuit, and memory for storing at least one storage medium, wherein the at least one storage medium store instructions that, when executed individually or in combination by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to obtain schedule information based on a user input, determine a start time associated with a schedule based on at least part of the schedule information, set a preparation time for generating of an automatic alarm generation based on the start time, in response to an arrival of the preparation time, determine whether a sleep state of a user is maintained using information received through the communication module, in response to the determining that the sleep state of the user is maintained, determine an alarm occurrence time of the automatic alarm based on the at least part of the schedule information, and generate the automatic alarm based on the automatic alarm occurrence time of the automatic alarm.

Dependent claims

An electronic device, comprising:

communication circuitry configured to establish communication with an external device;
memory comprising one or more storage media storing instructions;
and
at least one processor comprising processing circuitry,
wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to:
obtain schedule information based on a user input,
determine a start time associated with a schedule based on at least part of the schedule information,
set a preparation time for generating of an automatic alarm generation based on the start time,
in response to arrival of the preparation time, determine whether a sleep state of a user is maintained using information received through the communication circuitry,
in response to determining that the sleep state of the user is maintained, determine an alarm occurrence time of the automatic alarm based on the at least part of the schedule information, and
generate the automatic alarm based on the alarm occurrence time of the automatic alarm.
