Abstract
An electrophotographic member includes a surface layer that contains a binding material and polysiloxane compound particles, in which a content of the polysiloxane compound particles in the surface layer is 100 parts by mass or more and 250 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the binding material, and an exposure rate of the polysiloxane compound particles in the surface layer is 30% or more and 75% or less.
Claims20
An electrophotographic member comprising:
- a surface layer that contains a binding material and polysiloxane compound particles,
- wherein a content of the polysiloxane compound particles in the surface layer is 100 parts by mass or more and 250 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the binding material, and
- an exposure rate of the polysiloxane compound particles in the surface layer is 30% or more and 75% or less.
A method of manufacturing an electrophotographic member, comprising:
- a step of forming a polysiloxane compound particle-containing layer that contains a binding material and polysiloxane compound particles;
- and
- a step of polishing a surface of the polysiloxane compound particle-containing layer to form the polished polysiloxane compound particle-containing layer into a surface layer;
- wherein a content of the polysiloxane compound particles in the surface layer is 100 parts by mass or more and 250 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the binding material, and
- an exposure rate of the polysiloxane compound particles in the surface layer is 30% or more and 75% or less.
