Abstract
A developing device that is composed of plural constituent members and that causes a developer to adhere to an image holding body holding an image includes an opening that is disposed in a state of facing an image holding body side, a blocking member that partially blocks the opening, and another opening that extends in a direction intersecting a surface of the opening and that is disposed on an opposite side to, with respect to the blocking member, a side on which the image holding body is installed, in which air on the opposite side is dischargeable through the other opening.

A developing device that is composed of a plurality of constituent members and that causes a developer to adhere to an image holding body holding an image, the developing device comprising:
- an opening that is disposed in a state of facing an image holding body side;
- a blocking member that partially blocks the opening;
- and
- another opening that extends in a direction intersecting a surface of the opening and that is disposed on an opposite side to, with respect to the blocking member, a side on which the image holding body is installed,
- wherein air on the opposite side is dischargeable through the other opening.
