Abstract
A toner storage container includes a container body and a cap member. The cap member includes a hook portion that takes a restricting posture or a non-restricting posture. The hook portion has a base part and an arm part. The arm part extends in a straight line along the axial direction from the base part, has a tip facing the protruding part along the axial direction in the restricting posture, and elastically deforms such that, in the non-restricting posture, the tip is retracted radially outward so as not to face the protruding part along the axial direction. The hook portion has an operation hole formed in it extending radially inward from its radially outer face.
Claims6
A toner storage container comprising:
- a container body that stores toner therein, the container body having an opening portion formed at one end thereof along an axial direction along a central axis thereof, the container body being in a cylindrical shape;
- and
- a cap member that is attached to one end of the container body along the axial direction so as to cover the opening portion, the cap member being detachable in the axial direction with respect to the container body,
- wherein
- the container body has a protruding part that protrudes radially outward with respect to the container body from an outer circumferential surface of the container body,
- the cap member has a hook portion that, with the cap member attached to the container body, is in a restricting posture in which the hook portion makes contact with the protruding part along the axial direction to restrict movement of the cap member along the axial direction and that, by elastically deforming radially outward from the restricting posture, takes a non-restricting posture in which the hook portion does not restrict the movement of the cap member along the axial direction,
- the hook portion has:
- a base part;
- and
- an arm part extending in a straight line along the axial direction from the base part, the arm part having a tip facing the protruding part along the axial direction in the restricting posture, the arm part elastically deforming such that the tip is retracted radially outward so as not to face the protruding part along the axial direction in the non-restricting posture, and
- the hook portion has an operation hole formed therein extending radially inward from a radially outer face of the hook portion.
