Abstract

This development roll (10) for an electrophotographic apparatus comprises: a shaft body (12); an elastic body layer (14) that is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft body (12); and a surface layer (16) that is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body layer (14). The elastic body layer (14) is composed of a silicone base material that contains silicone rubber.
