Devices and methods for manufacturing detachable co-packaged connectors

A. method comprising:

• receiving a fine alignment element of a mounting element or an attachment element of a connector in a cavity of a positioning tool;
• aligning the positioning tool with a planar body of the mounting element or a coupling surface of the attachment element while maintaining the fine alignment element in the cavity of the positioning tool;
• disposing the fine alignment element in a concavity of the mounting element or the attachment element using the positioning tool;
• and
• maintaining the fine alignment element in the concavity using the positioning tool while bonding the fine alignment element within the concavity.

A. method comprising:

• receiving each of a plurality of fine alignment elements in a corresponding cavity of a positioning tool;
• aligning the positioning tool with a planar body of a mounting element or a coupling surface of an attachment element while maintaining each of the plurality of fine alignment elements in the corresponding cavity of the positioning tool;
• disposing each of the plurality of fine alignment elements in a corresponding concavity of the mounting element or the attachment element using the positioning tool;
• and
• maintaining each of the plurality of fine alignment elements in the corresponding concavity using the positioning tool while bonding each fine alignment element within the corresponding concavity, such that a final pitch of the fine alignment elements with respect to each other is within a predetermined range of final pitches.
