Abstract
A method for monitoring subsurface changes in a subsurface domain is disclosed. The method may include receiving ambient noise occurring in a subsurface domain, generating a plurality of time-space virtual shots by processing the ambient noise, modeling subsurface changes based on at least a portion of the plurality of time-space virtual shots, transforming the plurality of time-space virtual shots to a space-time representation, determining at least one difference between the transformed time-space virtual shots, and detecting the subsurface changes based on the at least one difference.
Claims20
A method for monitoring changes in a subsurface in a subsurface domain, the method comprising:
- receiving ambient noise occurring in the subsurface domain;
- generating a plurality of time-space virtual shots by processing the ambient noise;
- modeling the subsurface based on at least a portion of the plurality of time-space virtual shots;
- transforming the plurality of time-space virtual shots to a space-time representation;
- determining at least one difference between the transformed time-space virtual shots;
- and
- detecting changes in the subsurface based on the at least one difference.
A computing system, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- a memory system comprising one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by at least one of the one or more processors, cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving ambient noise;
- generating a plurality of time-space virtual shots by processing the ambient noise;
- modeling a subsurface based on at least a portion of the plurality time-space virtual shots;
- transforming the plurality of time-space virtual shots to a space-time representation;
- determining at least one difference between the transformed time-space virtual shots;
- and
- detecting changes in the subsurface based on the at least one difference.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving ambient noise;
- generating a plurality of time-space virtual shots by processing the ambient noise;
- modeling a subsurface based on at least a portion of the plurality time-space virtual shots;
- transforming the plurality of time-space virtual shots to a space-time representation;
- determining at least one difference between the transformed time-space virtual shots;
- and
- detecting changes in the subsurface based on the at least one difference.
